Skoda India has unveiled another teaser for the forthcoming Kodiaq SUV, providing important insights into the available editions of the vehicle. A video shared on their social media platforms highlights the exclusive Laurin & Klement (L&K) and Sportline variants of the Skoda Kodiaq. Previously, Skoda has introduced the L&K and Sportline versions in its other models in India.

This new SUV marks the second generation of the Kodiaq, which was initially presented at the recent Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The new Skoda Kodiaq, a premium SUV, will be assembled locally in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, to maintain competitive pricing. It is anticipated to arrive at dealerships in May 2025. The L&K edition is expected to feature luxurious details such as chrome accents and leather finishes in the interior, while the Sportline edition will incorporate sportier design elements, including blacked-out badging and trim.

2025 Skoda Kodiaq: Design

As the premier model for the brand in India, the 2025 Skoda Kodiaq showcases a completely refreshed design. This update features modern LED projector headlights and redesigned bumpers. It will also include newly crafted 20-inch alloy wheels, enhanced by rounded wheel arches adorned with black cladding. At the rear, C-shaped LED taillights will be linked by an elegant LED light bar.

2025 Skoda Kodiaq: Interior and features

The interior features a newly designed dual-spoke steering wheel adorned with the brand's emblem. Furthermore, the dashboard incorporates a multi-layered design, reportedly utilizing eco-friendly materials. The gear shifter is strategically located behind the steering wheel, allowing for more space in the center console, which is equipped with a wireless phone charger and a storage compartment with a retractable cover.

Notable features include a 13-inch standalone touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch fully digital driver display, and a high-quality audio system. Additionally, the vehicle will provide a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, wireless charging capabilities, and front seats that are both heated and ventilated.

2025 Skoda Kodiaq: Safety

The latest Kodiaq will come with a variety of safety features, including several airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchor points, and hill hold assist. Additionally, it is likely to offer advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), which may encompass automated emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, lane-keeping assistance, and parking assistance.

2025 Skoda Kodiaq: Engine and performance

The latest Kodiaq will be equipped with a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, which is combined with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT). This powertrain will deliver power to all four wheels via an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system, generating 201 bhp and 320 Nm of torque, thereby enhancing the performance of the new generation Kodiaq compared to its predecessor.
