The Skoda Kylaq signifies the Czech automaker's foray into the competitive sub-compact SUV market. Introduced in November 2024 with a starting price of ₹7.89 lakh (ex-showroom), the Kylaq represents the third vehicle launched as part of Skoda's India 2.0 initiative. While the Kushaq and Slavia have strengthened the brand's foothold in Tier-1 cities, the Kylaq is anticipated to facilitate expansion into Tier-2 and Tier-3 regions. Deliveries of the new Skoda Kylaq commenced today, and it will be offered in four variants with a selection of seven color options. For those interested in acquiring this new sub-compact SUV, the following details outline the pricing and available variants:

Skoda Kylaq Classic:

The entry-level Classic variant of the Skoda Kylaq is available at a starting price of ₹7.89 lakh (ex-showroom) and comes exclusively with a manual transmission. As the foundational model in the range, it features LED lighting throughout and is equipped with 16-inch steel wheels. Skoda has incorporated essential safety elements into the Kylaq, including six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control (ESC), and traction control. The interior is adorned with fabric upholstery, and the driver's seat is manually adjustable, complemented by adjustable headrests for all occupants. This variant offers a selection of three colour options: Candy White, Brilliant Silver, and Tornado Red, with Olive Gold available for an additional ₹9,000 on the ex-showroom price.

Skoda Kylaq Signature: 

The Kylaq’s Signature variant is available at a price of ₹9.59 lakh (ex-showroom) for the manual transmission and ₹10.59 lakh (ex-showroom) for the automatic version. This model includes all the standard features of the Classic variant while also incorporating additional amenities such as cruise control and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). Furthermore, it boasts a larger seven-inch infotainment display that is compatible with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The vehicle is fitted with 16-inch silver alloy wheels and retains a similar fabric upholstery, albeit with a refreshed design. Inside the cabin, one can find a front centre armrest with storage, a cooled glovebox, rear air conditioning vents, and metallic decorative elements. The Skoda Kylaq Signature is offered in five standard colour options, with the addition of Olive Gold and Carbon Steel. The Deep Black and Lava Blue colour choices will incur an additional charge of ₹9,000 on the ex-showroom price.

Skoda Kylaq Signature+: 

The Signature+ variant is available at a price of ₹11.40 lakh for the manual transmission and ₹12.40 lakh for the automatic version, both reflecting ex-showroom costs. In addition to the features found in the Signature variant, this model includes a rearview camera, automatic headlights, and hill hold assist. It is equipped with a 10-inch infotainment system that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, along with an eight-inch instrument cluster. The interior of the Kylaq in this variant is enhanced with automatic climate control and a dashboard pad infused with bamboo fibre. The driver benefits from a leather-wrapped steering wheel, keyless entry, and a push-button start/stop system. The Signature+ model also comes with the Deep Black paint option as standard, while the Lava Blue colour can be added for an additional cost of ₹9,000.

Skoda Kylaq Prestige: 

The top-tier variant of the Skoda Kylaq is the Prestige, which is priced at ₹13.35 lakh for the manual transmission and ₹14.40 lakh for the automatic version (both prices are ex-showroom). This variant is equipped with 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and LED projector headlights. Additionally, it includes front LED fog lights with a static cornering feature. Beyond the amenities found in the Signature+ variant, the Prestige offers leatherette seat upholstery, cushioned leatherette armrests for both front and rear doors, and an electric sunroof. Furthermore, the Kylaq Prestige is equipped with a wireless phone charger, auto-dimming interior rearview mirrors, ambient lighting within the cabin, and front seats that are electrically adjustable in six ways. All available colour options are standard with this variant.
