2025 Ducati Scrambler Full Throttle launched

The 2025 Ducati Scrambler Full Throttle has been officially launched in India, with a starting price of ₹12.60 lakh, ex-showroom. This model is now available at Ducati dealerships in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, and several other cities.

The revamped Full Throttle variant boasts updated styling, improved ergonomics, and retains the well-known 803 cc engine, appealing to riders seeking a performance-focused iteration of the Scrambler.

2 out of 3 Hyundai cars sold during FY25 are SUVs

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has announced that SUVs comprised 68.5 percent of its total domestic sales for the fiscal year 2024-25, marking a notable increase from 63.2 percent in the prior year. The company's domestic sales totaled 598,666 units, reflecting a decrease of 2.61 percent from the 614,721 units sold in FY2024.

This data indicates that nearly two-thirds of the vehicles sold by the manufacturer in India were SUVs. Tarun Garg, Whole-Time Director and Chief Operating Officer of Hyundai Motor India Ltd., stated that the fact that two out of every three vehicles sold in India are SUVs highlights the company's deep understanding of Indian consumers and its commitment to delivering innovation, safety, and style. The current SUV lineup features the Hyundai Creta, Venue, Exter, Alcazar, Tucson, and the Ioniq 5.

Skoda Kodiaq aims to sell 150% more

Skoda India is focused on increasing its brand presence in the country with the launch of the all-new Kodiaq. The Czech automotive company, a member of the Volkswagen Group, is hopeful that this new model will enhance its reputation in India, especially as the popularity of SUVs and crossovers continues to grow both locally and internationally.

Janeba Petr Janeba, Director of Skoda Auto India, pointed out that the first-generation Skoda Kodiaq achieved global sales exceeding 900,000 units, with over 10,000 of those sales occurring in India. He believes that the new generation Kodiaq offers a more premium experience and improved value for consumers. Janeba also mentioned that the latest Kodiaq is projected to perform even better in the Indian market. "We expect to sell at least 150 percent more than the previous version in India," he stated, underscoring the company's dedication to expanding its presence in the Indian SUV sector.
