Maruti Suzuki has introduced the 2025 Eeco in the Indian market, enhancing the model with additional safety features and more seating configurations. Notably, the Eeco is now compliant with OBD2 regulations, with prices starting at ₹5.69 lakh ex-showroom.

The manufacturer has phased out the 7-seater variant of the Eeco, while the 5-seater version remains unchanged. Additionally, two new 6-seater variants have been introduced, featuring captain seats for added comfort.

The updated Eeco now includes six airbags, an anti-lock braking system, seatbelt reminders, electronic stability control, and electronic brake distribution. All passengers are provided with three-point seatbelts equipped with pre-tensioners and force limiters for enhanced safety.

Under the hood, the Eeco retains its 80 hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, which has been modified to support E20 fuel (20 percent ethanol and 80 percent petrol) in compliance with recent government standards.

For those prioritizing fuel efficiency, a 70 hp CNG variant is available, although the CNG kit is limited to the 5-seater versions, while the 6-seater models are exclusively offered with the petrol engine. The petrol variant boasts a claimed fuel efficiency of 19.71 kmpl, whereas the CNG variant claims an economy of 26.78 km/kg.

Cosmetically, the Eeco remains unchanged, featuring rectangular halogen headlamps and vertically oriented taillamps. The bumpers continue to be finished in black, and there are no wheel covers included.

The interior design remains consistent, showcasing a three-spoke steering wheel and the same dashboard layout. However, the trim around the pillars and roof lines has been updated to accommodate the newly added airbags.

Maruti Suzuki Eeco continues to come with an air conditioner, heater, sliding driver seat, illuminated hazard switch, 12-Volt accessory socket and dome lamp battery saver. There is also a digital driver display, cabin air filter, sunvisors, front cabin lamp and steering lock. There are rear parking sensors on offer as well.
