Royal Enfield's newly established electric sub-brand, Flying Flea, has introduced its inaugural electric model in India. The model, designated as the C6, takes cues from the original Flying Flea motorcycle that served the British Army during World War II. Initially showcased in Milan, the Flying Flea C6 boasts a lightweight design, enhanced by girder front forks.

The Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) of the Flying Flea C6 has been developed entirely in-house, integrating all physical and digital interfaces of the motorcycle. The manufacturer has previously stated that the VCU will not only improve the motor's efficiency but also elevate the overall riding experience through "subtle" adjustments to the throttle, braking, and regenerative feedback. Most of these controls will be accessible via a mobile application.

Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6: Features

The manufacturer has not provided comprehensive information about the battery and motor specifications of the Flying Flea C6; nonetheless, they have verified that the motorcycle will be equipped with cornering ABS, cruise control, and traction control, in addition to several other electronic features. Furthermore, it will allow charging through a standard household three-pin plug. The design of the motorcycle also suggests the incorporation of advanced technologies, including LED lighting and a digital display.

Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6: Connected tech

The electric vehicle was showcased prominently at the Consumer Electronics Show 2025, where the manufacturer announced its partnership with Qualcomm to enable real-time connectivity features for the motorcycles. According to previous reports, the electric two-wheeler is expected to incorporate Qualcomm's Snapdragon QWM2290 chipset. This advancement will place the Flying Flea among the first two-wheeler platforms to offer connected services through the Snapdragon Car-to-Cloud Platform.

Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6: Riding modes

The Flying Flea features five preset riding modes, providing riders with a range of options to choose from. Furthermore, riders can tailor the combinations of these ride modes to suit their individual preferences and the type of terrain they are traversing. The built-in chipset enhances the vehicle's capabilities by allowing the system to recognize and use a mobile phone as a smart key for unlocking and starting the vehicle.
