The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Icon Edition has been officially launched in the Indian market. It is priced at ₹4.25 lakh ex-showroom, with a limited production run of only 100 units, of which merely 25 will be available in India. This Icon Edition commemorates the partnership between Royal Enfield and Icon Motorsports.

Royal Enfield describes the Icon Edition as a collector's item. It features a three-tone colour scheme with race-inspired graphics and is equipped with distinctive special components that enhance its custom design, including gold contrast-cut rims and blue shock springs. Additionally, a red seat with an integrated logo and bar-end mirrors contributes to its aesthetic appeal. Each motorcycle will be accompanied by a Slabtown Intercept RE jacket, created in collaboration with ICON. This exclusive jacket is made from suede and textile, embellished with leather appliques and embroidery, further enhancing its collector's value.

Regarding the limited edition release, Adrian Sellers, Head of Custom & Motorsport at Royal Enfield, stated, “Our collaboration with ICON Motosports for the Limited Edition Shotgun 650 showcases the custom potential of the Shotgun 650, celebrating the artistry and enthusiasm of custom building while expanding the limits of what can be achieved with Royal Enfield motorcycles. The ‘Always Something’ by ICON was a remarkable creation, and we are excited to present this production version that embodies its passion and style to our global community of riders.”

To have the opportunity to purchase the Icon Edition of the Shotgun 650, individuals are required to register on the Royal Enfield application. Customers located in other countries may access the online website link. The release will commence on February 12, 2025, at 3 PM GMT. The initial 25 customers who complete their bookings in each region will have the privilege of taking home the Shotgun 650 Icon Edition.

Are there any mechanical changes to the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Icon Edition?

There are no mechanical modifications to the Icon Edition. It is still equipped with the 648 cc parallel-twin engine featuring a 270-degree firing order. This engine produces 47.8 bhp and 51 Nm of torque. The transmission utilized is a 6-speed gearbox.
