The Royal Enfield Scram 440 is scheduled for launch in January 2025. This new model represents an enhancement over the Scram 411, featuring several notable upgrades, including a more robust engine.

The Scram 440 will be available in two variants: Trail and Force, along with five color choices—Force Blue, Force Grey, Force Teal, Trail Green, and Trail Blue. While the official pricing has yet to be disclosed, it is anticipated to exceed that of the Scram 411, with an expected range between ₹2.10 lakh and ₹2.20 lakh, ex-showroom. Additionally, for those seeking an adventure or utility motorcycle, the model now offers the option of panniers and a top box.

The most significant enhancement of the RE Scram 440 compared to the Scram 411 is its upgraded engine. The Scram 440 is equipped with a new 443cc engine, replacing the 411cc engine found in the previous model. This upgraded engine features a 3mm increase in bore size, resulting in a power output improvement of 4.5 percent, equating to 25.4 bhp, and a torque increase of 6.5 percent, reaching 34 Nm.

The Scram 411 generates 24 bhp and 32 Nm of torque, which stands in contrast to its counterpart. Another significant distinction lies in the transmission systems; the Scram 411 is equipped with a 5-speed gearbox, whereas the Scram 440 features a 6-speed gearbox, offering enhanced versatility and smoother performance.

The revised Scram 440 features a newly designed 30/32mm front piston caliper and an enhanced frame architecture, in addition to a set of switchable ABS. It is equipped with a 41 mm telescopic fork offering 190mm of travel, complemented by a monoshock with linkage that provides a stroke of 180mm.

The motorcycle retains its 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel setup, but now includes the option for tubeless tires and alloy wheels.
