The establishment of the new Thai CKD assembly plant marks a pivotal advancement in Royal Enfield's operations within the Asia Pacific region. This facility represents the brand's sixth assembly plant worldwide, complementing the existing facilities in Nepal, Bangladesh, Brazil, Colombia, and Argentina. Royal Enfield asserts that the new CKD plant is "state-of-the-art and will enable more efficient and flexible motorcycle delivery for customers" in the region. The opening of the new CKD assembly plant in Thailand marks a notable advancement in Royal Enfield's operations within the Asia Pacific region. This facility represents the brand's sixth assembly site worldwide, complementing existing plants in Nepal, Bangladesh, Brazil, Colombia, and Argentina. Royal Enfield highlights that the new CKD facility is state-of-the-art and will enable more efficient and flexible motorcycle distribution for customers in the area. The company has a presence in more than 60 countries globally.

During the inauguration, B Govindarajan, the CEO of Royal Enfield, stated, “Royal Enfield is dedicated to enhancing the middleweight motorcycle segment on a global scale. Royal Enfield Sales November 2024

Royal Enfield has experienced a notably dynamic year characterized by several product launches. The company has maintained a steady performance in terms of sales. In November 2024, the motorcycle manufacturer delivered 82,257 units, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 2.5 percent. However, domestic sales saw a decline of 3.86 percent, totaling 72,236 units compared to 75,137 units sold in November 2023. Conversely, exports witnessed a remarkable increase of nearly 96 percent, with 10,021 units shipped last month, a significant rise from the 5,114 units exported during the same timeframe the previous year.

Upcoming Royal Enfield Motorcycles

The motorcycle manufacturer based in Tamil Nadu is preparing to unveil additional models in 2025. Royal Enfield has officially announced that the new Scram 440 and Classic 650 Twin will be launched in January 2024. Furthermore, the company is anticipated to release more variants derived from the 350, 450, and 650 platforms in the upcoming year. In addition, Royal Enfield plans to introduce its inaugural electric motorcycle, the C6, under the newly established ‘Flying Flea’ sub-brand in 2026.
