Royal Enfield has officially introduced the Classic 650 in India. This retro-styled roadster motorcycle is priced between ₹3.37 lakh and ₹3.50 lakh (ex-showroom), depending on the variant selected. The Classic 650 is the latest model in the company's 650 cc lineup, which also includes the Super Meteor 650, Shotgun 650, and Interceptor 650.

Drawing inspiration from the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650, the Classic 650 showcases a design that closely resembles its smaller counterpart, the Royal Enfield Classic 350, renowned as one of the top-selling sub-500 cc motorcycles in the Indian market. The Classic 650 enters the market as a competitor to the BSA Goldstar 650.

Offered in three distinct trim levels—Hotrod, Classic, and Chrome—the new Royal Enfield Classic 650 provides extensive customization options through a variety of accessories available for purchase at an additional cost.

The Royal Enfield Classic 650 is equipped with a 648 cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine, paired with a six-speed transmission. This powertrain delivers a peak output of 46.3 bhp and a maximum torque of 52.3 Nm.

The motorcycle features 19-inch front and 18-inch rear multi-spoked wheels, fitted with 100-section front and 140-section rear MRF tyres. For its suspension system, the Classic 650 utilizes a telescopic front fork and dual shock absorbers at the rear. Additionally, it is equipped with disc brakes on both the front and rear for effective stopping power.
