KTM India is preparing for the launch of the 390 Enduro R scheduled for tomorrow, April 11. This new model is strategically positioned between the KTM 390 Adventure X and the KTM 390 Adventure S. The anticipated price range for the ADV is expected to be approximately ₹3.2 lakh to ₹3.4 lakh (ex-showroom). The 390 Enduro R stands out as one of the few motorcycles in its category, facing no direct competition in the market.

KTM 390 Enduro R: Modifications for the Indian Market

The most significant modification for the India-specific KTM 390 Enduro R is its suspension system, which has been adapted from the 390 Adventure S to suit local conditions. The front suspension travel has been adjusted to 205 mm, while the rear is set at 200 mm, a reduction from the 230 mm found in international models.

Additionally, the ground clearance has been decreased to 253 mm from 272 mm, and the seat height is now 860 mm, which is notably lower than the global variant's height of 890 mm. The motorcycle retains a combination of 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels, now fitted with different Mitas dual-purpose tyres.

KTM 390 Enduro R: Engine and specifications

The KTM 390 Enduro R is equipped with the renowned 399 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled LC4c engine derived from the 390 Duke, producing 45.3 bhp and 39 Nm of maximum torque, paired with a 6-speed transmission. It is also fitted with disc brakes featuring dual-channel ABS and traction control.

In contrast to the 390 Adventure, this new Enduro variant does not offer cruise control, making it an appealing choice for off-road enthusiasts who desire an exhilarating experience on trails. Built on the same platform as the latest 390 Adventure, the KTM 390 Enduro R is tailored for off-road capabilities and is lighter than its adventure-touring counterpart. The motorcycle was unveiled in India at the India Bike Week 2025, showcased in a global-spec version, although the Indian model incorporates several modifications.

KTM 390 Enduro R: Features

The design of the KTM 390 Enduro R takes inspiration from KTM’s larger Enduro models. It boasts fewer body panels, resulting in a more streamlined look and a reduced kerb weight of 168 kg, which enhances its agility.

Furthermore, the bike features a compact 4.1-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, replacing the larger color TFT screen. It offers functionalities such as turn-by-turn navigation, music control, and various other conveniences, ensuring that all essential features are well addressed.
