Renault India has announced an upcoming price increase for the Kiger, Kwid, and Triber models, effective April 1st. The price adjustment will be up to 2 per cent, with variations depending on the specific models and variants. This decision is a response to the persistent rise in input costs that the company has faced over an extended period. This marks Renault's first price increase since February 2023.

Currently, Renault's lineup consists solely of the Kiger, Kwid, and Triber. The company is also in the process of preparing to launch the new-generation Duster in the Indian market.

Mr. Venkatram Mamillapalle, Country CEO & Managing Director of Renault India, remarked, "Despite our efforts to keep prices stable for an extended period, the ongoing rise in input costs has made this price adjustment necessary. We have absorbed these costs for a considerable time to support our customers, but to continue delivering high-quality and innovative products, a price revision has become unavoidable."
