22 days ago | 5 Views
Maruti Suzuki has announced a price increase for several models in its range, effective from April 8. The hike, which can reach up to ₹62,000, aligns with the company's previous statement regarding a price adjustment of up to 4 percent. In its official communication, Maruti Suzuki attributed this revision to rising input costs, higher operational expenses, and the addition of new features.
Among the models affected, the Grand Vitara will experience the most significant price increase, with adjustments of up to ₹62,000 across all variants. The Eeco will see a rise of ₹22,500, while the popular WagonR hatchback will have an increase of ₹14,000. Additionally, the Ertiga and XL6 MPVs will both incur a price hike of ₹12,500.
Conversely, the Fronx subcompact SUV will have the smallest adjustment, with its price increasing by approximately ₹2,500. On the commercial front, the Tour S sedan, which is based on the Dzire, will see a price increase of up to ₹3,000. Other models within Maruti Suzuki's commercial lineup will remain at their current prices for now.
