Porsche India has officially announced the pricing for the updated Taycan RWD on its website for the first time. The listed price for the Taycan is ₹1.67 crore (ex-showroom). The vehicle was introduced to the Indian market earlier this January during the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo. However, at that event, the manufacturer only disclosed the prices for the 4S and Turbo variants.

The facelifted Porsche Taycan was unveiled last year, featuring minor modifications to its exterior design, which resulted in a refreshed front fascia. Additionally, the German automaker, part of the Volkswagen AG group, implemented several mechanical enhancements aimed at boosting the Taycan's efficiency, including new motors and battery packs.

Porsche Taycan facelift: Design

The updated Porsche Taycan features subtle modifications that alter its front profile, while the overall design remains mostly consistent with the previous model. The facelift introduces HD-Matrix LED headlights with enhanced optics, and the front bumper has been slightly revised, including updated air vents. Similar adjustments have been made to the rear, which now boasts a redesigned bumper and new taillight aesthetics. Additionally, the Taycan facelift is equipped with newly optimized aerodynamic alloy wheels paired with low rolling resistance tires.

Porsche Taycan facelift: Interior and features

The interior of the Porsche EV continues to be richly equipped in the facelifted Taycan, with significant updates such as a revamped fully digital instrument cluster, an expanded touchscreen infotainment system that includes software enhancements, and an additional screen for the front passenger. Furthermore, the manufacturer is providing options for leather-free seat upholstery in the updated Porsche Taycan.

Porsche Taycan facelift: Powertrain and specifications

The recent update has enhanced the performance of all Porsche Taycan models, thanks to the introduction of lighter electric motors and improved internal components. Additionally, these models are equipped with a new battery pack featuring updated cell chemistry. The electric powertrain of the refreshed Porsche Taycan boasts an impressive maximum range of up to 678 kilometers on a single charge. The Taycan 4S variant delivers a peak power of 510 bhp, while the Turbo variant generates a maximum power of 697 bhp.
