Porsche's Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Oliver Blume, conveyed via the social media platform X that the company will prioritize the expansion of its product lineup for Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) models and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs) in 2025. Furthermore, he indicated that the brand will enhance personalization options available to its customers.

Porsche's investment plans

In 2025, Porsche intends to allocate an additional 800 million euros (around ₹7598 crore) to expand its product offerings, software capabilities, and battery projects. This investment is designed to strengthen the company's profitability and fortify its resilience in both the short and medium term. Porsche expects that market conditions will remain quite difficult, with increasing competition in China.

Dr. Breckner stated, "The significant restructuring of the company, along with the investments we plan to undertake, will adversely affect the results for the 2025 financial year." He further emphasized, "We are intentionally embarking on a thorough recalibration to sustainably fortify Porsche for the future." Additionally, he noted that geopolitical uncertainties are expected to persist under the new US administration. The current projections for 2025 take into account all existing conditions, excluding any potential new import restrictions and tariffs.
