While the Indian electric two-wheeler market has primarily been dominated by electric scooters, there has been a notable increase in the availability of electric motorcycles recently, with various EV manufacturers launching their offerings. Revolt Motors stands out as a significant player in this market, having been one of the early entrants. The Revolt RV1 serves as a prominent competitor to the newly launched Ola Roadster X.

The mid-tier variant, equipped with a 3.5 kWh battery pack, is available for ₹85,000 (ex-showroom) and will be priced at ₹1 lakh (ex-showroom) after February 11. The premium variant, which includes a 4.5 kWh battery pack, is currently priced at ₹95,000 (ex-showroom) and will rise to ₹1.10 lakh (ex-showroom) post-February 11.

In comparison, the Revolt RV1 is priced at ₹85,000 (ex-showroom), making the pricing of the Ola Roadster X and Revolt RV1 highly competitive. Nevertheless, the broader range of options available with the Ola Roadster X provides it with a competitive advantage over the RV1.

The Ola Roadster X electric motorcycle offers three distinct battery options, each paired with a 7 kW electric motor. The entry-level model boasts a maximum speed of 105 km/h and can achieve a range of up to 117 km on a single charge. The mid-tier variant increases the top speed to 117 km/h, while the premium version reaches a maximum speed of 124 km/h. These two higher variants provide ranges of up to 159 km and 200 km, respectively, on a full charge. In comparison, the Revolt RV1 offers a range of up to 100 km on a single charge, with a maximum speed of 70 km/h.
