Ola Electric has recently introduced the Roadster X+ electric motorcycle in India, complementing the launch of the Ola Roadster X. In contrast to the Roadster X, which offers three distinct battery pack options, the Roadster X+ is available with two choices: 4.5 kWh and 9.1 kWh.
The Indian electric vehicle manufacturer aims to capture a larger share of the electric two-wheeler market, with the Roadster X series playing a pivotal role in this initiative. Ola Electric is optimistic that the Roadster X series will facilitate the growth of electric two-wheeler adoption in India and enable the company to secure a more significant portion of the market.
Currently, the Indian electric two-wheeler market is primarily dominated by scooters, although the presence of electric motorcycles is gradually increasing. Numerous manufacturers have introduced their products in this category, with Ola Electric being the latest entrant through its Roadster X series.
The Roadster X, priced between ₹75,000 and ₹95,000 (ex-introductory and ex-showroom), serves as an economical option for commuters, while the Roadster X+ positions itself as a premium electric motorcycle emphasizing high performance. It is offered in five distinct color options: Industrial Silver, Anthracite, Stellar Blue, Pine Green, and Ceramic White.
If you are planning to put your money on the Ola Roadster X+, here is a comprehensive guide to help you make a better decision on which variant should you pick.
