The Ola Roadster X represents the entry-level offering from the Indian electric vehicle manufacturer’s latest series of e-motorcycles, officially launched at a starting price of ₹74,999 (ex-showroom). This model is the most economical electric motorcycle from the brand, designed primarily for commuting while featuring a sporty design. It is available with three different battery pack configurations, boasting a claimed maximum range of up to 200 km on a full charge.

With its competitive pricing strategy, Ola Electric seeks to challenge many of the internal combustion engine (ICE) 150 cc competitors of the Roadster X. The base model, priced at ₹74,999, is equipped with a 2.5 kWh battery, which is said to provide a range of up to 117 km on a single charge. The mid-tier variant, available for ₹84,999, includes a 3.5 kWh battery with a claimed range of 159 km per charge. The premium 4.5 kWh variant, priced at ₹1 lakh, is reported to achieve a range of 200 km on a single charge.

Additionally, the brand has launched the new Roadster X+, which comes with both a 4.5 kWh and a 9.1 kWh battery option, priced at ₹1.05 lakh and ₹1.55 lakh, respectively. Both prices are introductory and ex-showroom.

Ola Roadster X: Features

This innovative electric motorcycle is outfitted with a 4.3-inch LCD display, powered by the Ola MoveOS 5. The Roadster X incorporates features such as turn-by-turn navigation, advanced regenerative braking, cruise control, tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and over-the-air (OTA) updates. It also offers three distinct riding modes: Sports, Normal, and Eco.

Ola Roadster X: Specifications

The Ola Roadster X is propelled by a single electric motor that delivers a peak power output of 9.38 bhp across all variants. Depending on the chosen battery pack, the motorcycle achieves varying top speeds. The 2.5 kWh battery variant reaches a maximum speed of 105 km/h, while the 3.5 kWh option allows for a top speed of 117 km/h. The highest specification 4.5 kWh battery variant can attain a top speed of 124 km/h.

The Roadster X is equipped with alloy wheels and utilizes a braking system that includes a front disc and rear drum configuration. Ola has incorporated a Combi Braking System (CBS) that employs brake-by-wire technology. Additionally, the motorcycle is designed with telescopic forks at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear.
