Oben Rorr EZ Gets Costlier: Prices Surge by Up to ₹10,000

Oben Electric has announced an increase in the price of the Rorr EZ electric motorcycle by up to ₹10,000. This price adjustment applies to the higher variants, while the base price remains unchanged at ₹89,999 (ex-showroom). The Rorr EZ is offered with three battery configurations: 2.4 kWh, 3.4 kWh, and 4.4 kWh. The revised pricing has been effective since February 1, 2025.

The Oben Rorr EZ is the brand's most affordable model, positioned below the Oben Rorr. The 2.6 kWh battery pack provides a range of up to 110 km on a single charge, with a charging duration of 45 minutes. The 3.4 kWh battery pack offers a range of 140 km with a charging time of 1.5 hours. The top variant features a 4.4 kWh battery pack, which claims a range of 175 km and requires 2 hours for a full charge. All charging times specified are based on the optional fast charging feature.
Specifications of the Oben Rorr EZ include a PMS electric motor producing 7.5 kW (10 bhp) and 52 Nm of peak torque. According to Oben, this electric motorcycle can reach 0-40 km/h in 3.3 seconds, with a maximum speed of 95 km/h. The bike features telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear, built on an ARX frame and riding on 17-inch alloy wheels. Braking is facilitated by disc brakes at both ends.

In terms of features, the Oben Rorr EZ includes all-LED lighting, a floating digital instrument cluster, geofencing, theft protection, Unified Brake Assist, and a Driver Alert System (DAS), among others. Oben provides a comprehensive warranty of 3 years or 75,000 km (whichever comes first) for the Rorr EZ. This motorcycle competes with models such as the Revolt RV400 BRZ and will soon face competition from the upcoming Ola Roadster X electric commuter.
