8 days ago | 5 Views
Nissan has introduced a 'Hattrick Carnival' promotion for the Magnite, which will be available until April 15th. This offer includes three distinct benefits for customers. Firstly, buyers can receive advantages of up to ₹55,000. In addition to this, Nissan is providing 'Carnival benefits' that can reach up to ₹10,000. The most appealing aspect of this promotion is the guaranteed gold coin that the company promises to all customers participating in this scheme.
It is important to highlight that the Carnival benefits apply only to select variants, and the availability of this offer is limited. Prospective buyers are encouraged to consult their local dealership for further details regarding the promotion prior to making a purchase.
This year, the Japanese automaker has increased the prices of the Magnite twice, with the SUV now starting at ₹6.14 lakh (ex-showroom). In March 2025, Nissan also updated the entire Magnite lineup to include an E20-compatible powertrain. The 1.0-litre naturally aspirated BR10 petrol engine has been made E20 compliant, while the 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine had already been adapted for E20 compatibility earlier.
Nissan Magnite: Engine and performance
The Nissan Magnite's 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine produces a peak power of 71 bhp and a maximum torque of 96 Nm. In contrast, the turbocharged petrol engine generates 98 bhp of peak power and 160 Nm of maximum torque. The naturally aspirated engine offers transmission options that include a five-speed manual gearbox and a five-speed automated manual transmission (AMT). Meanwhile, the turbocharged engine can be paired with either a five-speed manual gearbox or a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
Nissan Magnite: Hybrid in the works
Currently, the Magnite is available exclusively with petrol engines; however, recent reports indicate that a hybrid version may be introduced in the near future. It is suggested that the company is planning to release both hybrid and CNG variants of the Magnite soon. Nissan is exploring various powertrain options to expand its offerings, including hybrid and CNG models. Additionally, the company has revealed its intention to venture into the electric vehicle market by the conclusion of FY26.
