Now, the Japanese manufacturer has implemented an additional price hike of up to ₹4 lakh, raising the starting price of the Magnite to ₹6.14 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUV is offered in six variants and twelve color options, and it features two engine choices along with three transmission alternatives.

Tata Altroz facelift in works, likely to launch later this year

Tata Motors is presently conducting road tests for the updated version of the Altroz premium hatchback. The Tata Altroz stands out as one of the select premium hatchbacks available in the Indian market. It faces competition from models such as the Hyundai i20, Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Toyota Glanza, and the Maruti Suzuki Swift. The Altroz was introduced by the homegrown automotive giant five years ago, and since its launch, it has not undergone any major updates. Currently, the company is developing a highly anticipated refresh for the vehicle. While Tata Motors has not disclosed the specific timeline for the launch of the facelifted Altroz, it is anticipated to be available around the festive season this year. It remains to be seen how the manufacturer will position the pricing of the Altroz in relation to its competitors.

Volkswagen plans to bring back physical buttons to its future cars

Automakers globally are progressively reverting to their previous approach of incorporating physical buttons in vehicles. Following nearly ten years of the frustrating trend of consolidating most vehicle functions into a touchscreen interface, manufacturers have recognized that this method is less effective than providing dedicated physical controls for essential operations. This resurgence is driven by consumer feedback regarding the drawbacks of touchscreens, particularly their potential to be distracting and hazardous. Volkswagen, as a prominent player in the automotive industry, is also set to reintroduce physical buttons in its upcoming vehicle models.
