Yamaha has officially introduced the 2025 YZF-R3 and YZF-R25 models in the Japanese market. The YZF-R3 is priced at 660,000 Yen (approximately ₹3.80 lakh), while the YZF-R25 is available for 628,000 Yen (around ₹3.62 lakh). Both motorcycles are equipped with the same parallel-twin engine configuration and offer similar colour choices.

2025 Yamaha YZF-R3  

The 2025 Yamaha YZF-R3 showcases a more aggressive design with a sharper front fairing and a streamlined tail section, enhancing its sporty appearance. It is offered in three colour variants: Deep Purplish Blue Metallic, Matte Dark Gray Metallic, and Matte Yellowish White. The Matte Yellowish White option particularly stands out, giving the R3 a distinctive and upscale look. These enhancements contribute to the motorcycle's visual appeal while preserving its iconic design elements.

The Yamaha R3 is powered by a 321cc parallel-twin engine that generates 41 bhp and 30 Nm of torque. Renowned for its smooth and engaging power delivery, this engine has garnered a loyal following among motorcycle enthusiasts.

For a balanced riding experience, the motorcycle features a 37mm inverted front fork and a rear mono-shock suspension. Braking is managed by a 298mm front disc and a 220mm rear disc, both equipped with dual-channel ABS for improved safety.

Additionally, Yamaha has upgraded the R3's features, which now include all-LED lighting for enhanced visibility, a multi-function LCD instrument cluster, and smartphone connectivity, enabling riders to receive SMS and call notifications directly on the display.

2025 Yamaha YZF-R25

In conjunction with the R3, Yamaha has unveiled the 2025 YZF-R25, which adheres to a similar design philosophy. The front fairing bears a close resemblance to that of the R3, and the motorcycle is offered in the same three colour choices.

Beneath the fairing, the R25 is equipped with a 249cc parallel-twin engine that produces 34.5 bhp and 23 Nm of torque. Similar to the R3, it features a high-revving character and a smooth power delivery. The suspension and braking components are the same as those found on the R3, providing a well-balanced and confidence-inspiring riding experience.

Will these motorcycles be available in India? 

While it is unlikely that the R25 will be introduced in India, the 2025 Yamaha R3, with its various enhancements, is anticipated to enter the Indian market later this year. Yamaha currently offers the R3 in India, and these updates could enhance its competitiveness in the expanding premium sports bike segment.
