Skoda is poised to unveil its flagship SUV, the Kodiaq, on April 17. The brand has begun sharing teasers on its social media platforms, and it has now been confirmed that deliveries of the new Kodiaq will commence on May 2. The vehicle was first showcased in India at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.

Notable highlights include a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital driver display, and a heads-up display. Skoda has also introduced its Smart Dial system, which consists of three rotary knobs located beneath the infotainment screen for intuitive control of various functions. Additional premium features encompass wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 14-speaker Canton audio system, ambient lighting, power-adjustable front seats with heating and cooling options, a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging capabilities, and multiple USB Type-C ports.

What does the exterior design of the new Skoda Kodiaq look like?

The new Kodiaq exemplifies Skoda's Modern Solid design philosophy, enhancing its bold and commanding presence on the road. Key exterior updates include a prominent butterfly grille, more aerodynamic angular headlights paired with fog lights, and redesigned rear lights that feature a distinctive light strip across the tailgate.

This SUV now measures 4,758 mm in length, reflecting a 61 mm increase over the previous model. Its width has been slightly reduced to 1,864 mm, and the height has been lowered to 1,659 mm, while the wheelbase remains unchanged at 2,971 mm. Additionally, the Kodiaq comes with newly designed alloy wheels, available in sizes ranging from 17 to 20 inches.

The revised Kodiaq will be powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine, delivering 201 bhp and 320 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission and comes with a standard 4x4 drivetrain, ensuring a blend of power and off-road performance.

What safety features does the Skoda Kodiaq offer?

This SUV is outfitted with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), which include features like lane-keeping assistance and adaptive cruise control.
