Maruti Suzuki e Vitara

Maruti Suzuki is entering the electric vehicle market with the launch of the e Vitara, which is scheduled to be unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. This model will be available with two battery configurations: a 49 kWh pack and a 61 kWh pack, both providing an impressive range of up to 500 km. The interior is expected to feature a dual-screen arrangement that integrates a touchscreen infotainment system alongside a digital driver’s display. Additional anticipated amenities include automatic climate control, ventilated front seats, and wireless phone charging capabilities. The e Vitara will be available in both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive variants.

Hyundai Creta EV

The Creta EV is scheduled to be presented to Indian audiences at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo on January 17. The manufacturer has released several teasers of the SUV, and various spy images have emerged, highlighting the EV's resemblance to its internal combustion engine (ICE) version. The Creta EV will maintain the design of the headlamps and daytime running lights, while also incorporating new alloy wheels and an electric badge on the rear. Official information regarding the driving range of the Creta EV has yet to be disclosed. Nevertheless, it is anticipated that the vehicle will offer a range of approximately 500 kilometres on a single charge.

Tata Sierra

The Tata Sierra was earlier presented as a concept at the Auto Expo in 2023 and is now poised for market launch in both internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicle (EV) variants. This SUV draws inspiration from the original Tata Sierra introduced in 1991 and is anticipated to feature a battery pack ranging from 60 to 80 kWh. The projected range for the Sierra EV is approximately 500 kilometres, while the Sierra ICE will offer two engine options, including a likely 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine and a 2-litre diesel engine derived from the Safari model.

MG Cyberster

The MG Cyberster is set to make its debut in India at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. This roadster will be equipped with a soft-top and scissor doors. The elegant electric vehicle will come with a 77 kWh battery pack, boasting a purported driving range of up to 570 km on a single charge. The manufacturer has asserted that it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, with a maximum speed of 200 km/h. The MG Cyberster will be available exclusively through the MG Select retail channels.

New Skoda Octavia RS

Skoda is set to unveil the 2025 Octavia RS in India during the forthcoming Bharat Mobility Global Expo. The international version of the Octavia RS is equipped with a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that generates 260 bhp and 370 Nm of peak torque. In comparison to the standard Octavia, the RS variant is lowered by 15 mm and features an electronic limited-slip differential. Aesthetically, the Skoda Octavia RS bears a resemblance to the standard model, albeit with subtle modifications such as a blacked-out grille, a redesigned front with larger air intakes, new alloy wheels, and additional enhancements.
