Priced at an introductory rate of ₹79,999 (ex-showroom), this scooter was launched just prior to the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Notably, the Ampere Magnus Neo recently completed an impressive journey exceeding 2,000 km from Bengaluru to Delhi.

This model is situated at the entry-level of the high-speed electric scooter segment within the Indian market, which has seen a notable increase in consumer interest lately. The growing demand has prompted various electric vehicle startups to introduce their own offerings. A significant competitor to the Ampere Magnus Neo in this segment is the Ola Electric S1 X scooter, which starts at a price of ₹69,999 (ex-showroom).

The price for the Ola S1 X can reach up to ₹96,999 (ex-showroom). Consequently, the base variant of the Ampere Magnus Neo is ₹10,000 more expensive than that of the Ola S1 X.

Ampere Magnus Neo vs Ola S1 X: Specification

The Ampere Magnus Neo is equipped with a 2.3 kWh LFP battery pack, which is integrated with a hub-mounted electric motor. This electric propulsion system allows the Magnus Neo to achieve a range exceeding 100 kilometres, with a maximum speed of 65 km/h. The battery requires up to six hours to charge from zero to full capacity.

In contrast, the Ola S1 X offers three distinct battery pack options: 2 kWh, 3 kWh, and 4 kWh. Similar to the Magnus Neo, the Ola S1 X features a hub-mounted motor. The version with the 2 kWh battery pack can travel up to 95 kilometres on a single charge, reaching a top speed of 85 km/h. The variant equipped with a 3 kWh battery pack can cover a distance of up to 151 kilometres on a full charge, with a maximum speed of 90 km/h. Lastly, the 4 kWh battery pack version can achieve a range of up to 193 kilometres on a full charge, also at a top speed of 90 km/h.
