Maruti Suzuki Wagon R is among the various passenger vehicles from Maruti Suzuki that have experienced a price increase this month. This adjustment has resulted in the tallboy hatchback, a significant contributor to Maruti Suzuki's revenue for an extended period, becoming more expensive by up to ₹15,000. Notably, in recent weeks, Maruti Suzuki has raised the prices of several passenger vehicles available through its Arena and Nexa retail networks, with increases reaching up to ₹32,500, depending on the specific model and variant.

The Maruti Suzuki Wagon R is marketed through the company's Arena retail network, which also features models such as the Alto K10, Swift, and Dzire. The Wagon R is offered in four variants and nine color options. It is equipped with both 1.0-litre and 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engines, with transmission options including a five-speed manual and an AMT. Additionally, a petrol-CNG variant is available.

The smaller 1.0-litre petrol engine produces a peak power of 55.92 bhp and a maximum torque of 92.1 Nm. In contrast, the larger 1.2-litre petrol engine generates 88.5 bhp of peak power and 113 Nm of maximum torque. The hatchback delivers fuel efficiency ranging from 23.56 kmpl to 25.19 kmpl, depending on the engine variant.

Regarding the price adjustments for the Maruti Suzuki Wagon R, the increase of up to ₹15,000 affects variants such as the VXi 1.0 AGS, ZXi 1.2 AGS, ZXi+ 1.2 AGS, and the ZXi+ AGS dual-tone variants. Other variants have seen a consistent price increase of ₹10,000. Consequently, the Maruti Suzuki Wagon R hatchback is now priced between ₹5.64 lakh and ₹7.47 lakh (ex-showroom).
