Maruti Suzuki has introduced the 2025 Tour S sedan aimed at fleet operators in India. This model is the commercial variant of the latest Maruti Suzuki Dzire, with prices starting at ₹6.79 lakh for the petrol version and reaching ₹7.74 lakh (ex-showroom) for the CNG variant. Initially, Maruti had announced that the new-generation Dzire would only be available to private customers, but it appears they've changed their approach.

Maruti has officially launched the 2025 Tour S

The 2025 Maruti Tour S has undergone several modifications compared to the Dzire to better suit its role as a taxi. It comes in just three colors: Arctic White, Splendid Silver, and Bluish Black. To meet government regulations, it has a speed limit set at 80 km/h. Built on the basic LXi variant of the Dzire, the Tour S maintains a similar look but features a slightly updated grille and redesigned headlights. The side mirrors and door handles are finished in black, and instead of alloy wheels, it rolls on 14-inch steel wheels.

Inside, the cabin is straightforward, equipped with the essentials like power windows for all four doors, a tilt-adjustable steering wheel, manual air conditioning, central locking with speed-sensitive door locks, and an analog instrument panel. The seats are upholstered in beige. Additionally, it includes electronic stability control, seat belt reminders for all passengers, hill start assist, rear parking sensors, and ISOFIX child seat anchors.

Under the hood, the 2025 Maruti Tour S is powered by the same 1.2-liter Z-Series petrol engine found in the new Dzire. This engine produces 80.4 bhp and 111.7 Nm of torque, paired exclusively with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The CNG variant of this engine is tuned down to 69 bhp and 101.8 Nm. Maruti claims impressive fuel efficiency figures of 26.06 kmpl for petrol and 34.30 km/kg for CNG.
