At the 2025 Auto Expo, Maruti Suzuki unveiled the e Vitara, marking the brand's inaugural foray into electric vehicles. The launch is anticipated in March. 2 Volvo XC90 facelift
The facelifted Volvo XC90, set to be the company's flagship model in India, is anticipated to launch in March with a projected price of around ₹1 crore, ex-showroom. The refreshed model features subtle design enhancements, including a new bumper, streamlined LED headlights and taillights, as well as updated alloy wheels.
Inside, the 2025 XC90 is expected to showcase an upgraded interior, featuring an 11.2-inch infotainment system, a 12.3-inch digital driver display, four-zone automatic climate control, and a panoramic sunroof. While it is likely to maintain its mild-hybrid petrol engine, there is a possibility of introducing a plug-in hybrid variant.
3 Mercedes Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series
The Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series is anticipated to launch in March, representing the most performance-focused model from the Maybach brand and the first two-seater under its name. This luxury roadster features a striking dual-tone red and black exterior, elegant LED headlights, and commanding 21-inch alloy wheels.
The interior of the SL 680 exemplifies the Maybach tradition of luxury, featuring a sophisticated dual-tone cabin in white and grey, complemented by exclusive design elements characteristic of Maybach. Notable attributes include an 11.9-inch infotainment screen, a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, and power-adjustable seats equipped with memory functions. The SL 680 is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, producing 585 PS and 800 Nm of torque, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 4 seconds.
4 Tata Harrier EV
At the Auto Expo, the production model of the Tata Harrier EV was unveiled, with an expected launch by the end of March. This electric SUV retains the overall design language of its internal combustion engine counterpart while incorporating distinctive styling elements specific to electric vehicles.
Although Tata has not disclosed comprehensive details about the powertrain, it has confirmed that the Harrier EV will be equipped with a dual-motor system, providing all-wheel-drive capabilities. The anticipated torque for this electric SUV is 500 Nm, striking an appealing balance between performance and capability. The starting price for the Tata Harrier EV is projected to be around ₹21 lakh, ex-showroom.
5 Kia EV6 facelift
The Kia EV6 facelift was also presented at the Auto Expo 2025, with a launch anticipated in March. The facelifted model is expected to be priced at approximately ₹65 lakh, ex-showroom. This update introduces subtle design modifications, including redesigned LED headlights and a new set of alloy wheels. Inside, the cabin features several updates, such as a two-spoke steering wheel and a revamped center console.
Key features include dual 12.3-inch displays, a 12.3-inch heads-up display, and an advanced driver-assistance system. The facelifted version will also come with a larger 84kWh battery pack, which the manufacturer claims will provide a range exceeding 650 kilometers.
