The Mahindra XUV700 has recently become part of the trend of SUVs that have been introduced in black editions in the Indian market. Following the Tata Safari, Tata Harrier, and several other SUVs that have received similar dark or black editions in recent weeks, the Mahindra XUV700 Ebony Edition was launched in India on March 17. This special edition features cosmetic updates to enhance the SUV's appeal. The starting price for the Mahindra XUV700 Ebony Edition is ₹19.64 lakh (ex-showroom), with prices reaching up to ₹24.14 lakh (ex-showroom).

Mahindra XUV700 Ebony Edition: What makes it different

The Mahindra XUV700 Ebony Edition features a wide array of aesthetic enhancements both inside and out. Externally, the SUV showcases a Stealth Black colour scheme. Notable design aspects of this special edition include brushed silver skid plates, black-on-black grille inserts, and blacked-out outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs). It is equipped with 18-inch black alloy wheels, and the combination of black and silver throughout the exterior imparts a unique appearance to the vehicle.

In addition to the exterior modifications, the interior of the Mahindra XUV700 has also undergone significant cosmetic upgrades compared to the standard model. The cabin is adorned with black leatherette upholstery, blacked-out trim, and silver accents on the centre console and door panels. A light grey roof liner complements the dual-tone design. Additional interior features of the XUV700 Ebony Edition include dark chrome air conditioning vents.
