The Mahindra XUV 3XO is gearing up for its launch in Australia. According to a report from Drive, this sub-compact SUV will make its first appearance at the 2025 Melbourne Motor Show, which is scheduled for April 5 and 6, 2025.

While the pricing for the Australian version of the Mahindra XUV 3XO hasn't been announced yet, it will compete with models like the Chery Omoda 5, GWM Haval Jolion, and MG ZS. It's anticipated that the starting price for the Australian model will be around AUD 25,000 (approximately ₹13.5 lakh). The XUV 3XO was introduced in India in 2024, with prices ranging from ₹7.99 lakh to ₹15.57 lakh, all ex-showroom.

Mahindra XUV 3XO: Features and Specs

The Mahindra XUV 3XO comes with both petrol and diesel engine options. You can choose from two petrol engines and one diesel engine. The 1.2-litre mStallion TCMPFi petrol engine produces a peak power of 110 bhp and a maximum torque of 200 Nm. Meanwhile, the 1.2-litre mStallion TGDi petrol engine offers a stronger performance with 128 bhp and 230 Nm of torque. For the petrol engines, you can opt for either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission.

On the diesel side, the vehicle is powered by a 1.2-litre turbocharged CRDe engine, which is available with a six-speed manual or a six-speed AMT. This engine generates 115 bhp and a peak torque of 300 Nm.

Mahindra XUV 3XO: Highlights

When it comes to features, the Mahindra XUV 3XO was the pioneer in the sub-compact SUV category by introducing a panoramic sunroof. Inside, you'll find a sleek 26.03 cm HD touchscreen infotainment system and a fully digital instrument cluster of the same size. The AX series is equipped with the AdrenoX operating system.

This infotainment setup is paired with a premium seven-speaker Harman Kardon audio system that includes a nine-band equalizer for exceptional sound quality. It also offers six audio settings through a dedicated amplifier. Other enhancements include a redesigned center console, a wireless charger for smart devices, automatic climate control, and a 360-degree surround view camera.
