The Mahindra XEV 9e, the automaker's latest flagship model, was introduced in November 2024. Initially, only the pricing for the base variants was disclosed, but the complete pricing details for the XEV 9e were made available in February 2025. This model is offered in four trim levels: Pack One, Pack Two, Pack Three Select, and Pack Three.
Notably, all variants, except for the top-tier option, are equipped with a 59 kWh battery pack, while the premium Pack Three features a 79 kWh battery pack. The Mahindra XEV 9e Pack Three Select is equipped with LED daytime running lights featuring a central signature lamp, sequential turn signals, and a distinctive start-up lighting sequence. It also offers a panoramic glass roof and 19-inch alloy wheels. For added convenience, the vehicle includes powered flush door handles, auto-folding side mirrors that tilt down when reversing, and a power tailgate that operates via gesture control. Additionally, front fog lights with cornering functionality and front parking sensors enhance visibility and ease of use.
Inside, the vehicle boasts a variety of comfort and technology features. The cabin is adorned with leatherette upholstery on the seats and steering wheel, complemented by leatherette trim on the doors and dashboard. The driver's seat is adjustable in six ways, with a two-way manual lumbar support option. The front seats are also equipped with a ventilation feature. A dual-zone climate control system is available, along with sunshades for the second row and a tonneau cover in the trunk. The car includes an augmented reality head-up display (HUD) and ambient lighting with carpet lamps. It is powered by a Qualcomm 8295 Snapdragon processor, featuring 24GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, along with a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system that supports Dolby Atmos, and wireless charging capabilities for both front and rear passengers. Additional conveniences include keyless entry, an auto-dimming interior rearview mirror, and a one-touch power window for the driver's side.
Furthermore, the vehicle is equipped with a Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite, which includes five radar modules and a camera to enhance driving safety. Key driver assistance features comprise auto lane change, lane keeping assist, and alerts for cross-traffic at both the front and rear.

The top-of-the-line Mahindra XEV 9e Pack Three boasts an enhanced triple-screen setup that dominates the dashboard, imparting a luxurious ambiance to the interior. This arrangement includes three 12.3-inch displays powered by Mahindra's Adrenox software, featuring a touchscreen infotainment system and a driver's display. Additionally, the SUV is equipped with a twin-spoke multifunction steering wheel that features an illuminated logo. Other notable amenities include a wireless smartphone charger, a 16-speaker audio system, a panoramic glass roof, an automatic parking function, and a suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

This is where the significant distinction becomes apparent. The Mahindra XEV 9e Pack Three Select is powered by a more compact 59 kWh battery pack, whereas the premium Pack Three variant is exclusively equipped with a larger 79 kWh battery pack. The 59 kWh battery generates a peak output of 230 bhp and 380 Nm of torque, boasting a claimed range of 542 km. This electric SUV maintains a rear-wheel-drive configuration and offers three driving modes: Range, Everyday, and Race. Additionally, it features a Boost mode and a One-pedal drive mode.
In contrast, the Pack Three variant claims a range of 656 km while delivering 285 bhp and 380 Nm of torque.
Mahindra XEV 9e Pack Three Select vs Mahindra XEV 9e Pack Three: Price and deliveries
The Mahindra XEV 9e series is priced starting at ₹21.90 lakh. The Pack Three Select, which is the second-highest variant, is available for ₹27.90 lakh. In contrast, the premium Pack Three variant is offered at ₹30.50 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom. This indicates that the top variant is ₹2.6 lakh more expensive than the Pack Three Select variant.
In exchange for the additional cost, the top variant includes several enhanced features, along with improved range and power output. Furthermore, deliveries for the Mahindra XEV 9e Pack Three commenced in mid-March 2025, while the Pack Three Select variant will start its deliveries in June 2025.
