Following the successful introduction of the XEV 9e and the BE 6, Mahindra is poised to unveil the XEV 7e in the Indian market. The XEV 7e was recently observed undergoing testing in Nagpur. This electric SUV will draw design elements from the XUV700 but will be built on the INGLO platform. There will be some distinctions between the XEV 7e and the XUV700.
In the captured images, the rear of the new XEV 7e is visible. At first glance, it resembles a standard XUV700; however, a closer inspection reveals the absence of an exhaust pipe. This detail confirms that the vehicle is indeed the XEV 7e rather than the XUV700.
What will the design changes be with the Mahindra XEV 7e?
The XEV 7e will incorporate the top hat design from the XUV700, as previously noted. However, the front fascia will differ, drawing inspiration from the XEV 9e, featuring vertically stacked LED headlights, a closed grille, and a horizontal lightbar. Additionally, the vehicle will be equipped with motorized flush door handles and new alloy wheels, likely accompanied by aerodynamic wheel covers.
What will the cabin changes be to the Mahindra XEV 7e?
The primary design of the dashboard for the XEV 7e will draw inspiration from the XUV700, while other components will be sourced from the XEV 9e. This will result in a configuration featuring three screens: one for the passenger, an infotainment display for media and vehicle settings, and a digital display for the driver. Additionally, the centre console will include cup holders, a wireless charging station, and a compartment for miscellaneous items.
