The Mahindra XUV700 Ebony Edition boasts a range of stylish updates. It features a sleek Stealth Black color scheme, along with brushed silver skid plates, black grille inserts, and blacked-out side mirrors, which are standout design elements of this special edition SUV. It rolls on 18-inch black alloy wheels, and the combination of black and silver paint on the exterior gives it a unique look. In contrast, the standard version has chrome finishes on the blacked-out elements, and its 18-inch alloy wheels showcase a dual-tone design.

The Mahindra XUV700's interior has received a ton of stylish updates compared to the standard version. It features a sleek black leatherette trim, along with black accents and silver details on the center console and door panels. The light grey roof lining enhances the dual-tone look perfectly. Additionally, the cabin of the XUV700 Ebony Edition showcases dark chrome air conditioning vents.

The Mahindra XUV700, especially in its top-spec AX7 variant, is packed with impressive tech features. It boasts a pair of 10.25-inch screens for both the instrument panel and the infotainment system. You’ll also find the AdrenoX user interface, built-in Alexa, a Sony sound system, Level 2 ADAS, a panoramic sunroof, voice command capabilities, ambient lighting, and a lot more. Plus, it comes with ventilated seats, ORVMs that have a memory function, and over-the-air updates that add 13 new features.

The XUV700 comes with two engine choices: a 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine and a 2.2-liter diesel engine. The petrol version produces a top power of 197 bhp at 5,000 rpm and offers a peak torque of 380 Nm, which kicks in between 1,750 rpm and 3,000 rpm. You can pair either engine with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

The diesel engine delivers a peak power of 182 bhp at 3,500 rpm, with torque figures of 420 Nm when paired with the manual gearbox and 450 Nm when using the automatic transmission.

The Mahindra XUV700 Ebony Edition is built on the seven-seater FWD AX7 and AX7 L trims. The ex-showroom prices for the AX7-based XUV700 Ebony Edition fall between ₹19.64 lakh and ₹21.79 lakh. Meanwhile, the AX7 L version of the XUV700 Ebony Edition has ex-showroom prices ranging from ₹23.34 lakh to ₹24.14 lakh.
