1 Mahindra Scorpio N Black Edition vs Scorpio N: Design

The Mahindra Scorpio N Black Edition will maintain the fundamental design of the Scorpio N while introducing unique colour schemes. The front of both models will appear identical, with the exception of the black skid plate featured on the special edition. On the sides, the Scorpio N Black Edition will distinguish itself through black alloy wheels, dark chrome door handles, and black roof rails, setting it apart from the standard version. At the rear, the only distinguishing feature will be the black skid plate located at the bottom. The colour options for this new special edition are anticipated to be limited to a new black hue.

2 Mahindra Scorpio N Black Edition vs Scorpio N: Cabin

Similar to the exterior, the interior of the Mahindra Scorpio N Black Edition will also exhibit subtle modifications. This special edition will showcase an all-black theme, featuring a completely black interior and black leatherette upholstered seats. In contrast, the standard Scorpio N offers a dual-tone interior design that combines black and brown elements.

3 Mahindra Scorpio N Black Edition vs Scorpio N: Tech

The technological features of the Mahindra Scorpio N Black Edition will remain consistent with those of the standard model. It will include an 8-inch touchscreen, a 7-inch semi-digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, and a single-pane sunroof. Premium amenities will encompass a 12-speaker Sony audio system, an electrically adjustable driver's seat with six-way adjustment, automatic headlights and wipers, ventilated front seats, and a wireless smartphone charger.

Passenger safety will be ensured through the inclusion of six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ECS), front and rear parking sensors, a rear parking camera, hill-hold and hill descent control, and driver drowsiness detection. Additionally, it will feature all-wheel disc brakes.

4. The Mahindra Scorpio N Black Edition will not feature any mechanical alterations compared to the standard Scorpio N. It will continue to offer the same engine options, including a 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine and a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine. Both engines can be matched with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

The petrol variant produces more than 200 bhp and achieves a peak torque of up to 380 Nm. In contrast, the diesel variant generates 173 bhp and reaches a maximum torque of 400 Nm. For the lower variants, the diesel engine is detuned to deliver 132 bhp and 300 Nm, and it is available solely with a manual transmission.
