The Mahindra Scorpio N Black Edition has begun arriving at authorized dealerships, indicating that the launch of this new SUV variant could occur imminently. The manufacturer has recently shared a teaser for the Black Edition across its social media platforms.

Mahindra Scorpio N Black Edition: What are the changes? 

The Black Edition of the Scorpio N will feature primarily cosmetic enhancements. It will be equipped with a new set of blacked-out alloy wheels. In addition to the wheels, the exterior rearview mirrors, window cladding, and roof rails will also be finished in black. Furthermore, all chrome accents will now sport a dark chrome finish, and the front and rear skid plates will be painted black as well.

Interior modifications have also been made to the SUV. The cabin will showcase an all-black theme, contrasting with the standard Scorpio N's dual-tone black and brown design. Additionally, brushed aluminum trim will frame the touchscreen infotainment system and the air conditioning vents. 

Mahindra Scorpio N Black Edition: Are there any mechanical changes? 

There will be no mechanical alterations to the Scorpio N Black Edition. It will continue to offer a 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine and a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine. Both engines can be paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

The petrol engine produces over 200 bhp and generates a peak torque of up to 380 Nm, while the diesel engine delivers 173 bhp and achieves a maximum torque of 400 Nm. In the lower variants, the diesel engine is tuned to produce 132 bhp and 300 Nm, and it is exclusively available with a manual gearbox.

Currently, the pricing details for the Scorpio N Black Edition have not been disclosed. However, the Mahindra Scorpio N is priced between ₹13.99 lakh and ₹24.69 lakh, with both figures representing ex-showroom costs.
