Mahindra has announced the successful delivery of 3,000 units of its XEV 9e and BE 6 electric SUVs throughout India since the commencement of their deliveries. The company began distributing these two electric vehicles on March 20 of this year, and within a span of less than a month, it has achieved this significant milestone.

The Mahindra XEV 9e starts at a price of ₹21.90 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Pack One 59 kWh variant. The Pack Two 59 kWh and Pack Three Select 59 kWh variants are priced at ₹24.90 lakh (ex-showroom) and ₹27.90 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. The top-tier Pack Three 79 kWh variant is available for ₹30.50 lakh (ex-showroom).

Conversely, the Mahindra BE 6 begins at ₹18.90 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Pack One 59 kWh variant. The Pack One Above 59 kWh and Pack Two 59 kWh variants are priced at ₹20.50 lakh (ex-showroom) and ₹21.90 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. The Pack Three Select 59 kWh and the premium Pack Three 79 kWh variants are priced at ₹24.50 lakh (ex-showroom) and ₹26.90 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.

Mahindra asserts that the delivery of 3,000 units of the XEV 9e and BE 6 signifies a strong customer response, highlighting the company's expanding presence in India's dynamic electric vehicle sector. The automaker also noted that its new electric SUV lineup, which includes the XEV 9e and BE 6, has captivated consumers nationwide, with robust booking activity persisting.

Additionally, Mahindra disclosed that the XEV 9e represents 59 percent of total bookings, while the BE 6 accounts for 41 percent. The company observed a notable consumer preference for the fully equipped Pack Three variant of both the XEV 9e and BE 6, indicating a rising demand for advanced and feature-rich electric vehicles in India.

Mahindra further stated that due to the high number of bookings, waiting periods for both electric SUVs have extended to as much as six months in select cities. To cater to the growing demand, Mahindra is scaling up production and delivery operations for these two EVs.
