Mahindra has released its sales data for February 2025, reporting the sale of approximately 50,420 utility vehicles during the month. This represents a decrease of 19 percent compared to the 42,401 units sold in February 2024. The company attributes this growth to the ongoing expansion of its SUV lineup.

In addition to domestic sales, Mahindra exported around 3,061 units in February. This marks a significant increase from the 1,539 units sold in February of the previous fiscal year, reflecting an overall growth of 99 percent.

Beyond its electric vehicle offerings, the manufacturer introduced new variants of its SUVs, including the Scorpio N Carbon Edition and the Scorpio N Black Edition. Reports also emerged this month regarding the Mahindra Thar Roxx featuring Mocha brown interiors, which are expected to arrive at dealerships soon. Currently, Mahindra offers a total of 10 internal combustion engine (ICE) SUVs and 3 electric SUVs in the Indian market. The ICE lineup includes the Thar Roxx, XUV 3XO, Scorpio N, XUV 700, Thar, Scorpio Classic, Bolero Neo, Bolero Neo Plus, Bolero, and Marazzo. The electric models consist of the XUV400, BE 6, and XEV 9e.

Mahindra BE 6 and XEV 9e bookings opened

Bookings for the Mahindra BE 6 and XEV 9e commenced on February 14th, with the company announcing that these all-electric SUVs garnered over 30,000 bookings on their first day. The distribution of bookings was 56 percent for the XEV 9e and 44 percent for the BE 6, resulting in a total registered booking value of ₹8,472 crores (at ex-showroom prices) on that day.

Furthermore, Mahindra indicated that deliveries for these SUVs will begin in mid-March 2025, starting with the Pack 3 variants. The Pack 3 Select variants are scheduled for delivery from June, while Pack 2 deliveries will commence in July 2025. Deliveries for the Pack One Above and Pack One will follow in August 2025.
