Despite the price increase, the MG Windsor EV continues to be regarded as one of the most cost-effective choices in the passenger electric vehicle segment. Notably, the top-tier Windsor EV Essence variant stands out as the most economical option within the range. Here are the reasons for this assessment.

The Essence represents the highest specification model within the Windsor EV range, carrying a price of ₹16 lakh, ex-showroom when equipped with a fixed battery. In contrast, the model utilizing the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option is priced at ₹12.5 lakh plus ₹3.9 per kilometer. Although the Essence is ₹1 lakh more expensive than the Exclusive variant, which ranks as the second highest in the lineup, it offers a multitude of features that substantiate its higher price point.

The MG Windsor EV Essence, as the highest specification variant, is equipped with an array of advanced features. It includes a 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an 8.8-inch digital display for the driver, and six-way adjustable power seats for the driver, which are complemented by ventilated front seating.
