Tata-owned Land Rover has introduced the 2025 model year of the Range Rover Sport, manufactured in India, with a starting price of ₹1.45 crore, ex-showroom. This represents an increase of ₹5 lakh compared to the 2024 model year. Nevertheless, it remains ₹25 lakh less expensive than the Completely Built Unit (CBU) that was available until August 2024. Earlier this year, the British luxury automaker began local production of its flagship SUVs in India, which has contributed to reduced pricing for both the Range Rover LWB and Range Rover Sport.

Similar to the 2024 model, the new version is also based on the standard wheelbase configuration. This luxury SUV is constructed on the MLA-Flex architecture and is equipped with a range of features, including air suspension, adaptive off-road cruise control, and all-wheel drive, among others.

The 2025 Range Rover Sport, produced in India, is available with two engine options. The petrol variant is equipped with a 3.0-litre petrol Dynamic SE engine that delivers 394 bhp and 550 Nm of torque, while the diesel variant features a 3.0-litre diesel Dynamic SE engine producing 346 bhp and 700 Nm of peak torque. Notably, the company asserts that the units manufactured in India are exclusive to the Indian market.

2025 Range Rover Sport: Features

The 2025 Range Rover Sport introduces several enhancements for an additional cost. Notably, it now features semi-aniline leather seats, front seats with massage functionality, and a heads-up display (HUD). In addition to these upgrades, the 2025 model retains the impressive 13.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system that prominently occupies the dashboard.

This system operates on the latest generation Pivi Pro platform, which offers a wide array of functionalities on the curved display, encompassing navigation, media, climate control, and more. Furthermore, the Range Rover Sport is equipped with cabin air purification, digital LED headlights featuring adaptive front lighting, and new low-speed maneuvering lights, among other improvements. In addition to these new features, the 2025 Range Rover Sport is available in five color options: Fuji White, Santorini Black, Giola Green, Varesine Blue, and Charente Grey.

Range Rover Sport SV 2 Edition

Earlier this year, the company introduced the Range Rover Sport SV 2 Edition on a global scale, aimed at enhancing sportiness and driving performance. It is equipped with a 4.4-liter Twin Turbo V8 mild-hybrid engine that delivers 626 bhp and 750 Nm of torque. According to Land Rover, this configuration enables the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds, establishing it as the fastest SUV within the Range Rover Sport series. The SV mode further enhances the driving experience by optimizing the suspension, powertrain, and steering systems.
