Lamborghini is set to unveil its second hybrid supercar in India, the Temerario, on April 30, right after the Revuelto. This new model takes the place of the Huracan and marks an exciting new era for Lamborghini, combining electric power with striking design and top-notch performance. Here’s what you need to know about this upcoming supercar from the Italian brand:

Lamborghini Temerario: Powertrain

The Temerario features an impressive plug-in hybrid powertrain, marking a first for Lamborghini as it takes over from the Huracan. It boasts a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that cranks out 789 bhp and 730 Nm of torque, revving up to nearly 10,000 rpm. This powerhouse is complemented by three electric motors—two on the front axle, one for each wheel, and a third integrated into the rear-mounted 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. These electric motors add another 295 bhp and an incredible 2,150 Nm of torque.

Together, they produce a total of 907 bhp, enabling the Temerario to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds and hit a top speed of 343 km/h. Plus, the 3.8 kWh lithium-ion battery supports regenerative braking and can be fully charged in 30 minutes with a 7 kW AC charger, making it perfect for quick high-speed thrills.

Lamborghini Temerario: Style

The Temerario showcases a fresh design vibe that's bolder and more striking than the Huracan. With its shark-nose front, low profile, and fierce body lines, it stands out right away. The headlights and taillights sport cool hexagon-shaped LED DRLs, while the back features a centrally placed exhaust that amps up the aggressive look. Every aspect is designed for better aerodynamics, from the sleek fuel cap and shaped ORVMs to the big alloy wheels – 20 inches in front and 21 inches in the back. Plus, Lamborghini offers customization options like carbon-fiber wheels for those wanting to enhance both performance and style.

Lamborghini Temerario: Inside Look

Inside the Temerario, the cabin design is inspired by fighter jets, similar to the Revuelto. The driver enjoys a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument panel, while the center console features an 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system stacked vertically. Plus, there's a 9.1-inch display for the passenger to keep them in the loop.

When it comes to comfort and functionality, it's top-notch with seats that adjust electrically and offer both heating and ventilation. The steering wheel has physical controls that feel great, making driving more engaging. The Temerario also boasts a variety of driving modes – 13 in total – including Citta, Strada, Sport, and Corsa. There are three modes specifically for plug-in hybrids: Recharge for battery charging, Hybrid for a mix of efficiency and performance, and Performance for maximum power. For those who love to drift, there's a dedicated mode with three levels of traction control to enhance the driving experience.

Lamborghini Temerario: Frame

The Temerario features a totally new aluminum spaceframe chassis that boosts torsional rigidity by 20% over the Huracan's carbon-aluminum frame. This upgrade really improves stability and handling, especially when you're pushing it at high speeds or on the track. If you're after something even more intense, Lamborghini has the Alleggerita package, which adds extra carbon fiber panels to shave off 25 kg from the car's base weight of 1,715 kg.

Lamborghini Temerario: Cost and when you can get it

The Lamborghini Temerario is set to hit the Indian market on April 30, 2025, taking on rivals like the Ferrari 296 GTB. With its mix of speed, sleek Italian style, and cutting-edge tech, it's anticipated to cost about ₹6 crore (ex-showroom).
