1 Hyundai Creta EV:  
Hyundai India's most sought-after model is set to introduce an eagerly awaited electric variant. The Hyundai Creta EV is scheduled to make its debut at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo in January and is anticipated to incorporate design elements from the recent facelift of the conventional ICE model. The interior is likely to feature a dual-screen setup similar to that of the ICE version, along with Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and a blind spot monitoring camera. Premium leatherette may be used for the cabin finish, and a new gear selector accompanied by an updated centre console design is expected. The Creta EV is projected to offer both 45 kWh and 55 kWh battery options, boasting a single-charge range of up to 500 kilometres.

2 Maruti Suzuki e Vitara:  
The Maruti Suzuki e Vitara is set to make its Indian debut at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo, marking the carmaker's first foray into the all-electric segment. Initially showcased as the eVX concept at the 2023 Auto Expo, the e Vitara was globally unveiled for the first time at the EICMA 2024 in Milan, Italy. It will be offered worldwide with two battery pack options of 49 kWh and 61 kWh, and Maruti Suzuki is expected to provide both front-wheel drive (FWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) configurations. Although official range figures have yet to be confirmed, the e Vitara is anticipated to achieve a distance of approximately 400 kilometres on a single charge.

The Toyota Urban Cruiser EV has recently been introduced, sharing its foundational architecture with the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara. It made its initial appearance at the 2023 Auto Expo, where it was presented as the Maruti eVX Urban SUV concept. The Urban Cruiser EV features a distinct design while maintaining a similar silhouette to the e Vitara. It will be available with two battery pack options: 49 kWh and 61 kWh, with Toyota planning to offer an all-wheel-drive variant for the latter. Although the official range figures have yet to be disclosed, it is anticipated that the Toyota Urban Cruiser EV will achieve a range of approximately 400 kilometres on a single charge.

The Tata Sierra nameplate is set to make a comeback as an electric vehicle, with its anticipated debut at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo in a refreshed and contemporary form. This model is expected to feature an array of advanced technologies, including a dual-screen setup with a 12.3-inch infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster. Premium leatherette upholstery and ventilated front seats are also likely to be included. Additional features may encompass a wireless charging pad, dual-zone climate control, and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Built on the Gen2 platform, the Sierra EV will support battery configurations of 45 kWh and 55 kWh, with an estimated single-charge range of 450 to 550 kilometers, depending on the selected battery.

5. Tata Harrier EV:  
Tata Motors is preparing to launch the Harrier EV in 2025, with its debut anticipated at the 2025 Auto Expo. The Indian automotive manufacturer has already revealed a concept version of this vehicle, which will be among the ten electric models the brand aims to introduce by the end of 2025. The Harrier EV is expected to offer battery pack options of 60 kWh and 80 kWh, with front-wheel drive as the standard drivetrain configuration, while all-wheel drive variants will also be available. This electric model is set to incorporate numerous new design features compared to its internal combustion engine counterpart. Notable amenities will include a large touchscreen infotainment system, a 360-degree surround-view camera, automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, and more.
