Kia has released yet another teaser video for its forthcoming SUV, the Syros, in anticipation of its official launch in India. This latest video has unveiled additional details and features of the Syros SUV before its debut on December 19. The Syros will be introduced as Kia's third offering in the sub-₹20 lakh SUV segment, following the Seltos and Sonet. It is expected to be positioned between these two flagship models, potentially establishing a new segment in the market.
The most recent teaser video showcases the Syros SUV for the first time, highlighting its exterior colour scheme. The vehicle will feature a light blue hue, complemented by black wheel arches and roof rails, along with other design elements. Notably, the teaser indicates that the SUV will have minimal chrome accents, a characteristic that is typically prevalent in vehicles sold in India.

The latest teaser video introduces several new features of the Syros SUV, including its flush-fitting door handles. Additionally, the video highlights the vertical LED headlamps equipped with daytime running lights at the front, the distinctive boxy silhouette, the SUV's window line, squared wheel arches, and the L-shaped LED taillights positioned around the rear windshield.
Previous teaser videos and images of the Kia Syros have indicated that the SUV will be equipped with a panoramic sunroof, a dual-screen configuration, a wireless charging option, and a redesigned steering wheel. Anticipated features for the Syros SUV also include automatic climate control, ventilated seating, ISOFIX child seat anchors, a dual-screen arrangement featuring a touchscreen infotainment system, and a digital display for the driver. The infotainment system is expected to be compatible with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The Kia Syros is expected to be equipped with a 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine, capable of producing 118 bhp and delivering a maximum torque of 172 Nm. This engine may be paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Additionally, Kia might provide a 1.5-litre diesel engine that generates 116 bhp and achieves a peak torque of 250 Nm.
