Kia Syros has hit over 20,000 bookings since its launch on February 1, 2025, with deliveries kicking off in mid-February. The car is priced between ₹9 lakh and ₹17 lakh, and comes in six different variants, offering two engine choices and two transmission options for each engine. The company pointed out that the higher-end trims are really popular, showing a strong interest in the premium models.

When it comes to engine preferences, 67% of customers went for the petrol option, while 33% chose diesel. Additionally, 46% of buyers selected the top variants. On the color front, Glacier White Pearl was the favorite, accounting for 32% of bookings, followed by Aurora Black Pearl at 26% and Frost Blue at 20%.

Kia Syros: Specifications

The Kia Syros comes with options for both petrol and diesel engines. The petrol models are equipped with a 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, similar to what's in the Sonet Turbo. However, the Syros offers a bit more flexibility, allowing you to choose between a six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. This engine delivers 118 bhp and 172 Nm of peak torque.

On the diesel side, the Syros uses the same 1.5-litre diesel engine found in the Sonet, Seltos, and Kia Carens. This diesel engine churns out 116 bhp and 250 Nm of peak torque. You can pair it with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

Kia Syros: Highlights

The Kia Syros comes with a cool 30-inch panoramic dual-screen setup that features a touchscreen infotainment system alongside a digital instrument cluster. You can easily connect your phone with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Inside the Syros, you'll find comfy ventilated seats in both the front and back, a second row that slides and reclines, a push-button start/stop engine, a 360-degree parking camera, a wireless charger, twin USB-C ports, front parking sensors, and a panoramic sunroof.

On the safety front, Kia has loaded the Syros with Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) level 2 technology. This means the SUV is packed with 16 adaptive safety features, including lane keep assist, hill start assist, electronic stability control, and more.
