Kia Sales Surge 19.3%, Driven by Seltos, Syros & Sonet

Kia India has announced domestic sales of 25,525 units for March 2025, marking a growth of 19.3 percent. In comparison, sales in March 2024 were recorded at 21,400 units. For the financial year, total sales reached 255,207 units, indicating a 4 percent increase over the previous year.

The Sonet remained the top performer, contributing 30 percent to the overall sales. It was followed by the Seltos, Carens, and Syros, which accounted for 26 percent, 22 percent, and 20 percent of sales, respectively.

This upward trend is also reflected in the quarterly sales figures, which totaled 75,576 units, a 15.6 percent increase from the 65,369 units sold during the same period last year. Furthermore, Kia India reported annual sales of 255,207 units, which is a 4 percent rise from the 245,634 units sold in the fiscal year 2023-24. In terms of exports, Kia successfully shipped 26,892 units to international markets, enhancing its global footprint.

The quarter's standout event was the impressive launch of the Kia Syros, which has achieved sales of 15,986 units since its introduction. The Syros is positioned between the Sonet and the Seltos within the brand's lineup.

The pricing for the Syros ranges from ₹9 lakh to ₹17.80 lakh, both figures being ex-showroom prices. It is available with a choice of a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine or a 1.5-litre diesel engine. There are six variants available: HTK, HTK (O), HTK+, HTX, HTX+, and HTX+ (O).
