In India, more than 1.5 million cars produced in India have been sold, according to Kia India. The manufacturing facility in Anantapur produced all of these automobiles. The Carens, which has become quite well-known in the Indian market, was the landmark vehicle used to celebrate this feat.

So far, the Kia plant in Anantapur has produced more than 700,668 units (46.7%) of the Seltos, 519,064 units (34.6%) of the Sonet, 241,582 units (16.1%) of the Carens, 23,036 units (1.5%) of the Syros, and 16,172 units (1.1%) of the Carnival.

The new Carens model is anticipated to be available for purchase in addition to the current one. The announcement will be made on May 8th. The Carens, which debuted in 2022, received some initial skepticism, but since then, it has surpassed expectations by selling more than 200,000 units. The exterior will have redesigned bumpers and a new set of lighting fixtures at both the front and back. In addition, the vehicle will have a new set of alloy wheels on its sides. The Carens is already well-equipped in terms of features, and the next upgrade is expected to bring a panoramic sunroof, ventilated rear seats, a redesigned dashboard, a fully digital driver's display, and new upholstery choices with a variety of colors. In addition, improvements are anticipated, such as a bigger instrument cluster, a 360-degree parking camera, and an Advanced Driver Aids System at Level 2.
