Interestingly, Kawasaki has chosen not to apply a golden finish to the front forks, which may come as a surprise to some traditionalists. 2 Traction Control  

A significant improvement in the 2025 Z650RS is the incorporation of the Kawasaki Traction Control System (KTRC). This sophisticated safety feature is engineered to enhance stability and control, particularly in challenging riding conditions such as wet or gravelly surfaces. This upgrade not only bolsters safety but also positions the Z650RS as a more adaptable choice for riders seeking an all-weather motorcycle.

3 Design  

The Kawasaki Z650RS maintains its unique retro-inspired design, which pays tribute to classic motorcycles while integrating contemporary design elements. The front features a round headlamp that evokes an old-school charm, complemented by dual analogue gauges and a digital display situated between them. The teardrop-shaped fuel tank and streamlined tail section contribute to its vintage aesthetic, making the motorcycle a striking presence. Despite its nostalgic design, the Z650RS remains a thoroughly modern machine, seamlessly blending advanced technology to provide the best of both worlds.

4 Engine  

Beneath its retro façade lies a formidable engine. The Z650RS is powered by a 649 cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine, which is also utilized in Kawasaki’s Ninja 650 and Versys 650 models. This reliable engine delivers impressive performance, producing 67 bhp at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 64 Nm at 6,700 rpm. It is paired with a 6-speed transmission that features an assist and slip clutch, ensuring smoother gear transitions and minimizing rider fatigue during extended journeys.
