1 Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX: Design
The Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX exhibits a design that closely resembles that of the Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX. The new model features bodywork that remains largely unchanged from its predecessor. The chassis components are identical to those of the outgoing model. The motorcycle showcases a sleek and sculpted aesthetic, characterized by LED headlights, a robust fuel tank, and sharply contoured tank shrouds. The split seating arrangement and slender tail section further contribute to the bike's visual allure.
2 Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX: Features
The Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX is equipped with a comprehensive array of electronic features. It includes a TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, various riding modes, adjustable power settings, traction control, ABS, a bi-directional quick-shifter, and electronic cruise control. A notable addition to this model is the handlebar-mounted USB Type C charging port, which was not present in the Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX.
3 Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX: Powertrain
The Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX is powered by a slightly larger engine than that of the Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX. It utilizes a 1,099 cc inline four-cylinder engine, in contrast to the 1,043 cc engine found in the 1000SX. Despite the increase in displacement, the power output has decreased from 142 bhp to approximately 135 bhp. However, torque has seen a slight increase from 111 Nm to 113 Nm. The new motorcycle provides marginally improved acceleration due to a larger sprocket with an additional tooth. Kawasaki has also extended the gearing in the fifth and sixth gears to enhance comfort during long-distance touring.
4 Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX: Wheel, Brake, and Suspension
The Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX is fitted with 17-inch wheels that are shaped with new Bridgestone Battlax S23 tyres. For braking, the Ninja 1100SE is equipped with a Brembo disc brake at the front, complemented by a larger disc at the rear. The motorcycle features an Ohlins S36 adjustable mono shock absorber for its suspension system, which is not available in the standard model.
