KTM India has generated excitement for its forthcoming 390 Enduro R through various social media platforms, indicating that a launch is imminent. Reservations for the KTM 390 Enduro R became available in December 2024, and the dual-sport motorcycle was also presented at the India Bike Week 2024.
The KTM 390 Enduro R is poised to launch alongside the recently unveiled KTM 390 Adventure. The 390 Adventure is priced at ₹2.91 lakh (ex-showroom), while the new 390 Enduro R is designed to be a cost-effective choice for trail enthusiasts who favor a lighter alternative to a full-sized adventure motorcycle. Furthermore, KTM intends to introduce the 390 SMC R supermoto to the Indian market later this year, which will feature 17-inch alloy wheels on both ends and will share the same engine and frame as the Enduro R.
KTM 390 Enduro R: Engine and Performance
The KTM 390 Enduro R enhances KTM's offerings, joining the ranks of the 125 Enduro R and 690 Enduro R models. It will be equipped with the renowned 399 cc LC4c single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which is also utilized in the KTM 390 Duke. This engine is tuned to generate 43.5 bhp in the international variant, while the Indian version is anticipated to produce 45 bhp. Both variants will deliver a peak torque of 39 Nm. The engine will be coupled with a 6-speed gearbox mounted on a trellis frame, and the Indian variant is expected to achieve the full 45 bhp output, similar to that of the 390 Duke.

KTM 390 Enduro R: Specifications
Regarding the cycle components, the Enduro R will be fitted with USD forks at the front, providing 230 mm of suspension travel, complemented by a rear monoshock. The braking system will consist of a 285 mm front disc paired with an axial caliper and a 240 mm rear disc. The motorcycle will feature switchable dual-channel ABS and will be outfitted with wire-spoked wheels measuring 21 inches in the front and 18 inches in the rear. In contrast to the 390 Duke, the new 390 Enduro R will have a smaller 9-litre fuel tank, resulting in an overall weight reduction of 6 kg, which brings the kerb weight down to 159 kg. Additionally, the 390 Enduro R will present a notably taller profile, with a ground clearance of 272 mm.

In terms of specifications, the KTM 390 Enduro R will be equipped with a 4.2-inch TFT display that supports Bluetooth connectivity for music, incoming calls, and turn-by-turn navigation. It will also offer two riding modes: Street and Offroad.
