The global lineup for the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure includes three variants—Adventure, X, and S—though only the first two are available in the Indian market. The KTM 390 Adventure X is priced at ₹2.91 lakh (ex-showroom), while the KTM 390 Adventure is available for ₹3.67 lakh (ex-showroom).

In recent years, there has been a significant increase in demand and popularity for premium and adventure touring motorcycles in India. In response to this growing interest, motorcycle manufacturers are intensifying their efforts in this segment to enhance their market presence. As a prominent player in the Indian premium two-wheeler sector, KTM is poised to elevate its offerings. The introduction of the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure series is a crucial element of this strategy.

The KTM 390 Adventure X faces competition from models such as the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, Triumph Scrambler 400 X, and BMW G 310 GS within its category. Additionally, it will contend with the forthcoming TVS Apache RTX 300.

The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure X is available at a price of ₹2.91 lakh (ex-showroom), whereas the BMW G 310 GS is priced at ₹3.30 lakh (ex-showroom). Consequently, the new KTM 390 Adventure is approximately ₹40,000 more affordable than the BMW G 310 GS.

2025 KTM 390 Adventure X vs BMW G 310 GS: Specification

The KTM 390 Adventure X is equipped with a 399 cc liquid-cooled engine, paired with a six-speed transmission featuring a quick-shifter. This engine produces a peak power of 45.3 bhp and a maximum torque of 39 Nm.

In contrast, the BMW G 310 GS is powered by a 313 cc reverse-inclined liquid-cooled engine, which is also utilized in other 310 cc BMW models and TVS motorcycles. This engine is coupled with a six-speed gearbox that includes a slip-and-assist clutch, generating a peak power of 34 bhp at 9,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 28 Nm at 7,500 rpm.
