Joy e-bike Sales Surge: 3,830 Units Sold in January 2025

Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Limited (WIML), a leading manufacturer of electric vehicles under the brands 'Joy e-bike' and 'Joy e-rik', reported sales of 3,830 electric two-wheelers in January 2025. This total includes both high-speed and low-speed models, marking an 18.76 per cent increase from the 3,225 units sold in January 2024.
Recently, Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Limited entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with C4V, a New York-based company specializing in lithium-ion battery technology, particularly in battery cell design and optimization.

Joy Nemo launched
In December of the previous year, the brand introduced the Nemo, an electric scooter priced at ₹99,999, which is the ex-showroom introductory price. The manufacturer asserts that the Nemo is specifically engineered for urban environments, featuring a lightweight design and a payload capacity of 150 kg. It offers three distinct riding modes: Eco, Sport, and Hyper. The scooter is equipped with a 1500 W BLDC motor and a 3-speed motor controller, achieving a maximum speed of 65 km/h. Wardwizard presents the Nemo in a silver and white colour combination.
The scooter is powered by a lithium-ion battery pack, utilizing an NMC unit that incorporates a Smart BMS to enhance the battery's longevity and performance. This 72V, 40 Ah battery pack is claimed to provide a range of 130 km on a single charge when operating in Eco mode. The suspension system of the Joy Nemo consists of telescopic forks at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear. For braking, it features hydraulic discs on both ends, along with a combined braking system.
