1 Exclusive additions

The Jawa 350 Legacy Edition distinguishes itself with practical enhancements tailored for touring. It features a touring visor designed to minimize wind resistance and improve rider comfort during extended journeys. This edition also includes an upgraded pillion backrest for enhanced comfort and support for the passenger, along with a crash guard to safeguard the engine in the event of a fall.

Moreover, Jawa is providing exclusive memorabilia, such as a leather keychain and a miniature collector’s edition model of the Jawa 350, further enhancing its uniqueness.

2 Engine

A significant advancement in the Jawa 350 lineup is the transition from the previous 293cc engine to a more robust 334cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This upgraded engine produces 21.8 bhp at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm.

Coupled with a 6-speed transmission and a slip-and-assist clutch, the motorcycle ensures smoother gear transitions and less rider fatigue, particularly in congested traffic or during long-distance travel.

3 Specifications

Constructed on a dual-cradle frame, the Jawa 350 Legacy Edition maintains the same specifications as the standard model. It is equipped with 35 mm telescopic front forks for improved shock absorption on rough terrain and twin gas-filled rear shock absorbers featuring five-step preload adjustment, allowing riders to customize suspension settings according to their preferences and load.

With a saddle height of 790 mm and a ground clearance of 178 mm, the motorcycle is accessible to riders of varying heights while providing a stable ride on Indian roads.

4 Braking

The braking capabilities of both the original Jawa 350 and the Legacy Edition are comparable. The front is equipped with a 280 mm disc brake, while the rear features a 240 mm disc brake. Additionally, dual-channel ABS is included for enhanced safety and improved control during emergency braking situations. This configuration guarantees reliable braking performance, whether navigating city traffic or cruising on highways.

5 Pricing and competition

With a price tag of ₹1.98 lakh (ex-showroom), the Jawa 350 Legacy Edition is positioned strategically in relation to its main rivals, which include the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Honda CB350, Harley-Davidson X440, and Benelli Imperiale 400.

Although it is a limited-production model, it remains competitive within the retro-styled 350cc motorcycle market, providing a combination of traditional aesthetics, contemporary features, and a unique ownership experience.
